STILL PACKING

I'm still packing and waiting for the appraisal to be done. Supposedly, I should hear from them in the next day or two. The basement is quickly filling up with boxes. We hope to rent a storage unit soon to move some of the stuff to. We are going to check on our lot this week to see if any work has begun.

PACKING

Not much happened today. More packing. Took a break from packing in the basement. I think I breathed too much dust and dirt. I haven't felt good today. So, I did some packing in the kitchen. It's never ending. More tomorrow and the next day, and the next.....

NEW HOME

In about six weeks, we will be moving to Huntsville, Alabama. My husband's job is taking us there. We are excited and looking forward to building our new home in the River Landing community. I am going to try really hard to write what is happening as the building process progresses.

We have picked our lot and they are in the process of pulling all the permits needed. We will be watching for signs of activity on the lot. Stay tuned....

Finished the Master Bath...Almost

OK, so I touched up the paint around the caulking above the tub surround. Now I need to stain some moulding that we are going to use to frame out our large mirror. We should be able to get this done this coming week and I think that will be it. I'm ready to do something fun.

Not Very Good....

Well, I guess you can tell that I'm not very good at blogging. I will try to do better. I have been back into the home improvement mode. I repainted our master bath which is a large chore since you can't reach parts of the ceiling and walls unless you are ten feet tall and standing on a six foot step ladder. We've had ladders in the bathtub and shower. I've been on the ladders frontwards, backwards, and all different directions. Finally, the painting is done. I caulked around the tub surround yesterday and today. Caulking is not my cup of tea. We'll see how it looks tomorrow after it has dried. Maybe I will be able to touch up the paint above it and be finished. The only thing that needs to be replaced now is the shower door. Maybe soon.

More Sales

Just when I think no one is going to buy my fobs and there is no need for me to make more, bingo! I received an order today for two that are on my web site. Then a friend placed an order for six new ones. Maybe the word is getting out! Hope so.

Life

A lot has happened since I last posted. My sweet dog, Muffin, who had been sick for a month had surgery and lived for a day and a half before leaving us. My heart has been broken even as I'm writing this. She was the love of our lives and we weren't ready to say goodbye. I miss her so much. But on a brighter note, we have "Little Man" to give double love to.

On an even brighter note, I made my second sale in my scissor fob business, Fabulous Fobs. That was a pick me up.

More good news. My son is signing a contract on a garden home this afternoon. Hopefully, he will be moving the middle of November. Then our daughter is going to move in with him. Things are working out good for all concerned. Pitootie on the person that tried to sabotage the move.
