CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

It's really hot here in Alabama and very dry from lack of rain.
I thought I would paint a Christmas ornament and just
maybe the temperature would cool off just
a little.  Well, you guessed it, it is still hot and dry.
It was 97 degrees today and is to get increasingly hotter
each day this week and stay hot next week.
Here is the ornament minus the wire hanger that I haven't made yet.

Well, haven't accomplished much, but it is some.  This is the Lizzie Kate

I have made.  This is for a couple who just
had their first baby, a boy.

NEW SCISSOR FOB

I made several new scissor fobs for my Etsy shop a few weeks ago.
After I made this one, I liked it so much, and realized it would
match my Gingher Cheetah scissors, that I had
to make one for myself.
After clipping it on my scissors, I was really pleased
with it.

I have started something new.  It's not really
far enough along to post a picture yet.

I'm into simple lately....what can I say,
I'm getting too old to enjoy the more
difficult ones.  A lot of the
Lizzie Kate designs have always appealed
to me.  I'm finally taking the time to do some of them.

NEWEST WORK IN PROGRESS

This is a Lizzie Kate design called "Don't Get Your Tinsel in a
Tangle.  I love the saying especially during the holidays when we all
get to going in too many directions.
I have not decided how I will have it finished. I may frame it or
 have it done a different way.
